To strictly control the whole processing is absolutely necessary.But i think,the root problem and most important is to let every staff form a strong sense of quality.

The most impressive thing i remember is last Jun. EbyTon was making a small batch cnc turning rapid prototypes for an Israeli client.Many finished parts had a tiny line outside the parts, quality control colleagues passed this issue to production colleagues to get it resolved,after trying once ,the result didnt turn better,that time,QC and production colleagues suggests sales to talk with client to see if he can accept this “small” issue this time,but the general manager checked the parts and anouced that they were not approved,and asked to re-do them right now.
I still remember what she said,"If we can do better ,why not do it better?I do not want client make do with what we do for this,but satisfying as much as possible. If we ourselves even dont care quality,how should we moce forward?

Just like the famous ”Refrigerator smashing event” happened in 1985 in Haier,China best refrigerator producer.The CEO of Haier,Mr.Ruimin Chang let the producers smash 76 defect refrigerators in front of all workers,many workers shed tears.And Chang told firmly,”If i permit you guys to sell the 76 sets to clients today,i am permitting you to produce more defect refrigerators in future."

It's just that hammer embeded the quality sense deeply into every members’ mind.What a wise decision!I think that is the reason why Haier go where they are today.So does EbyTon,we understand that only when all members of the company have in mind a strong quality sense,can we manufacture more rapid prototypes with higher quality.
